Susan WheelerSue Wheeler
Susan (Susie) Wheeler is the Managing Director E6 Group Ventures.  E6 Ventures is the corporate venture fund of Element Six, part of the DeBeers Group.  Susie has extensive experience in private equity and growth companies.  Previously, Susie worked as VP M&A and Strategy for Boart Longyear, a portfolio company of Bain Capital, Advent and Macquarie where she drove an industry consolidation of mining services companies prior to its IPO in 2007.  Prior to Boart Longyear, Susie led and participated in many small company investments and acquisitions where she further provided strategic and operational assistance to various portfolio companies.  She has also served as an independent advisor to investors.  Susie began her career at Bain & Company where she led client engagements in North and South America as well as Europe providing due diligence support to private equity firms.  During her nine-year tenure at Bain & Company, she also led numerous strategic and operational engagements for mid-cap and large companies.  Currently, Susie is a Board Director for E6 Ventures portfolio companies.  She has an MBA from the Amos Tuck School at Dartmouth College and a BS from Brigham Young University.

 


Art ClaybonArt Claybon
Art Claybon is a Principal in the Santa Clara office of E6 Ventures. Previously, he was a Vice President with the venture capital firm, Third Security, where he was a Director on the Board of Synchrony, LLC and a Board Observer of ECDS, LLC. Before joining Third Security he was a consultant with Booz & Co., where he led strategy engagements in North America and Europe, primarily in the Aerospace & Defense industry. Prior to Booz & Co., Art held senior level technical management positions with Boeing and Northrop Grumman. Art currently serves on the Board of E6 Ventures portfolio companies. He holds a Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering from Georgia Tech (with honor), an MS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California, and an MBA from The Anderson School at UCLA.

 

 


Wayne LiebermanWayne Lieberman
With nearly three decades of high tech experience, Mr. Lieberman is considered a strong operational entrepreneur with many successful endeavors. He has led the accelerated growth and successful liquidity events of several companies focused on both consumer and industrial products. Mr. Lieberman previously served as a CEO of Entorian Inc (NASDAQ: OTC Markets: ENTN), VP/GM of Marvell Semiconductor, Worldwide Manager of DSP Software Business Development for Texas Instruments, and served in various other senior management positions. Additionally, he holds a patent for circuit module turbulence enhancement and systems methods. Mr. Lieberman holds a BA degree from Penn State University and an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh, with an emphasis in computer science, which he achieved with high honors distinction.
